VATICAN MUSEUMS AND SISTINE CHAPEL, SEMI-PRIVATE AFETRNOON TOUR WITH TASTING

Enjoy an afternoon tour to the Vatican Museums, one of the world’s largest museum complexes, 2,000 rooms and over 65,000 works of art that stretch for nearly 9 miles (15 km) inside the Vatican City. The tour starts from the meeting point, skipping the line with your small group of no more than 12 people. Strolling along the corridors to admire the world’s largest private art collection, once intended exclusively for the Pope. Through Raphael’s Rooms, four interconnecting chambers adorned with paintings by Raphael and his pupils, you will reach the beautiful breathtaking Sistine Chapel, considered the Holy Chapel of the Pope, to admire one of the most sacred sites of the Vatican where you will have the occasion to appreciate Michelangelo’s amazing frescoes (“The Creation of the world” and the “Last Judgment”) and other works painted by famous artists such as Perugino, Botticelli and Ghirlandaio, just to mention the most well-known. At the end of the visit the guide will accompany you to a famous winery for a tasting of wines and Roman Cusine.

* The entrance to the Vatican Museums requires appropriate clothing: shorts, miniskirts and uncovered shoulders are not allowed
